Q: audsid++ forever?

How is the audsid field in V$SESSION set?
Connecting to ORACLE might give me the audsid 12348. Can I be sure that this id 12348 wont be used by some other subsequent logon after my logoff?
Is it reset to 0 at boot time of ORACLE or what?
