[Q] Message ORA-09301 when running NETTEST.EXE of SQL*Net/Windows

     I have just installed the SQL*Net TCP/IP for Windows on my PC.
     When I tried to run the NETTEST.EXE program to test out my
     installation, I got the message

         ORA-09301: osncon: local kernel only supported in standard mode.

     Does anybody have any idea what the message means?

     I am running WIndows for workgroup 3.1, SQL*Net TCP/IP V.1.1.7.8,
     and I am using Trumpet Winsock as my TCP/IP interface.
