Rollback & DDL

Hi, Dear Oracle Experts:
I have an impression that Oracle does NOT allow you to "rollback" once you create a table (or whatever other similar DDL command).
I also happened to have a chance using INGRESS which allows you to "rollback" if you decide not to keep the table you just created.
It's said that former approach is ANSI SQL standard. BUT, I do see some advatanges of the latter. It's espacially true when you're doing automatic programming.
So, what's your oppinion ?
