SQL Net and SQL Windows

I trying to find out if anyone has been sucessful in executing a stored procedure (Oracle 7) from SQL Windows and/or SQL Talk.

I've receive the error:
ORA-0900 Invalid SQL statement

This is *very* frustrating because *is* valid. BTW, I'm trying:

execute username.procedure_name ('x', 'x');

Any help would be appreciated.
