SQL Graphical query builder...Clarification!!!

I am looking for actual code which implements an QB. It doesn't really have to be for Motif, I just want someplace to start. I need to code to eventually be incorporated into a very specific GUI application. Therefore only certain types of queries would be allowed, not a generic query on any database. Also, the GUI interface to the QB would need to be changable to fit our needs.

Hopefully this is a little more clear. :)
