I don't know what version you are trying to install (2.0?). We have installed
SQL*Net TCP/IP 1.2 on macs, using MacTCP as the tcp tool. We have used
DataPrism, Business Objects, Data Browser, and Clear Access successfully. They
have connected to both a VAX running Multinet and to a Sparc 10. The database
version was 7.0.13.
I have only installed SQL*Net on one mac (mine), and that was a long time ago, but I don't remember there being any major problems with the manual.
