Single tasking version of imp (help)

We have been using expst to speed up our exports of a 9Gb database. This has been successful in reducing the elapsed time by about 30%.

We have been told by our local Oracle support that a corresponding version of imp (impst) does not exist. However I have seen people mention impst in other postings to the group. If anyone can give me information about impst or similar I would be interested to hear from them.
