Cancel package from SGA??

How does Oracle7 know when to get rid of a package. If an application calls package after package without disconnecting from the database, seems the database memory would fill up pretty quick... Just curious. Oh, by the way, I'm asking because I'm designing a rather large system using OCI and stored procedures. OK I'm gonna start rambling... Seems to me, if the application unbinds the variables (is there an unbind?? I'm just getting familiar with OCI and stored procs) the SGA memory should be freed. Well, if anyone knows for sure, please let me know...
