Yes. It works fine.

That's right. But it's not the issue here.

All Oracle Tools for windows (Forms, Reports, Graphics, Browser, Glue, etc) work fine in Win-OS2. In fact, I think they run slightly faster under Win-OS2 (than Windows/DOS). You do not need any networking software or SQL*Net drivers for windows. Instead, by using a product called SQL*VDM, the Windows tools make use of whatever SQL*Net drivers are installed under OS/2. You can even connect to a local Oracle7 server for OS/2 without using any SQL*Net software. This implementation is very similar to networksoftware  vendors DOS-emulators.

At our office, one of our demo machines is a 486dx with the following software:

	OS/2 2.1
	IBM TCP/IP 2.0
	Oracle7 Server for OS/2
	SQL*Net v2 with TCP/IP protocol adapter for OS/2
	SQL*VDM
Oracle CDE Release 4.0.12 for Windows

Netware SPX/IPX and APPC/LU6.2 are also available. SQL*VDM is shipping now.

Hope this clears things up,
