Apparently the gentleman isn't following the RAID discussions on comp.databases.oracle. Generally speaking it would appear that the technical discussions about RAID in large Oracle databases should be posted on comp.arch.storage also, since this is where the real RAID expertise is. Interested people may wish to check that extensive RAID discussion on comp.databases.oracle. It's rather informative.
