Subject: Oracle Card 1.1 based Free Software

I am offering to the Oracle Community a MENU PROGRAM GENERATOR that is specification based. This OC stack is implemented on version 1.1.1.5 of Oracle Card and works with O6/O7 under windows 3.1 and Macs.

Description/Features

  • Graphically entered specifications.
  • Text Fields and Button property definitions graphically acquired either through typing or menu selections. Most OC related properties are supported including height, location, color, justification, width, border type, font, fontsize, etc...
  • Menu card property definitions
  • Hierarchical decomposition of menu between title(s), subtitles(s), menu options(s)
  • Programmatic links between options and targets.
  • Storage of specification in ASCII for further interactive modifications.
  • Defaults values for storage of 'look and feel' types among menus part of the same application(s).
  • Generation of menu in both horizontal or vertical modes, this interchangeably even in one sequence of option developments.

and last the program generator.

Notes:

This is the first part of a full development platform where I am developing a FILE PROGRAM GENERATOR (think about the OC stack builder with complete functionality (propertywise, operationwise, lockingwise and more) but without the very long response time existing today in OC 1.1). A REPORT PROGRAM GENERATOR based on providing an OC tailored graphical specification acquisition system to REPORTWRITER 2.0 will then follow.

When: File tool in 8 weeks and REPORT tool: six months
