There is always the question of strategic positioning. Given enough time, most languages will probably do most things. Who are you going to put your money on? A tiny company like Admiral, or a big company like Microsoft?

Tell you what, I'm a SQLWindows user and I'm looking to learn Visual Basic/Visual C++ PDQ.
