Getting Gupta's SQL/Windows working with Oracle7

We've got Oracle 7 installed on our Sun and I'm using SQL*Net TCP/IP in order to make queries from our PC. We've recently gotten Gupta's SQL/Windows Corporate Edition v4, but are having trouble connecting it to Oracle. I know that SQL*Net TCPIP for Windows is working (we're using Lan Workplace and I can make queries from SQL*Plus for Windows on my PC), but when I try connecting using Gupta's Oracle Router (testing with SQL Talk 3.1.6 as according to the manual), I get an error message "ORA-09241: Message not found ; product=RDBMS ; facility=ORA ;".
Has anyone else had problems like this?
