Personally I wouldn't mind as long it is beneficial to the comp.databases.oracle newsgroup. By this I mean their interoperability with Oracle eg their tool set, networking and front-end applications running against Oracle like Manman/X with Oracle as a backend.
But then again, if you have something to say about new products put it in comp.newprod an post a brief note saying it is there.

Just as Oracle and the other RDBMS vendors are reading the other como.databases.*. :-)
