In article <1so7s2$ogm_at_erau.db.erau.edu> you write: |> Does anyone know where I can download a demo of forms40 and case 5.1?
Oracle CASE Dictionary 5.1 is currently available on a limited Beta release and is only available through the normal Oracle channels.
It will be available, production, on MS-Windows in September 1993, with other major platforms (Unix, VMS, etc.) following shortly after.
Major new features of Oracle CASE Dictionary 5.1 include (very briefly):
- Client-Server application design, generation and regeneration
- Distributed Database design, generation and regeneration
- ORACLE7 support (eg stored procedures, functions, database triggers, snapshots, etc.)
- Database design to entity-relationship model retrofit utility
- A PL/SQL API (initially supporting analysis objects only)
- Graphical user interface (built using Oracle Forms 4)
- New Document element
- New reports eg Application Metrics, Application Version Comparisons.
