Menus in SQL*Forms v4

Does anyone know if the SQL*Menus portion of SQL*Forms v4 will allow the specification of data types for parameter fields, so that dates will be validated, characters won't be allowed in numeric fields, etc.?

Currently, one must jump through hoops in PL/SQL to do such parameter validation.
