Hi, I have yet another SQL*ReportWriter question/problem.

I have a table which has a LONG column in it, and of course when I select it in my query, SQL*ReportWriter changes it to a CHAR field and specifies it's length as 10. I changed the length of my field to 75 and specified that information was to WRAP within it.

When I excute this report one of two things happens:

1- either the entire LONG field is displayed extactly as it should
2- if the LONG field quite close to the both of the page then
only the first 75 characters is displayed.

The GROUP BODY is set to continue on any over flow, but this does not happen. I then tried to force this field to always be printed on a separate page, it might waste an extra sheet of paper but then the user of the report would be guaranteed of getting ALL of the required information. I set the PAGE BREAK attribute to ALWAYS, regenerated, and ran the report but the same error occurred. I also tried setting the PAGE BREAK attribute to CONDITIONAL, but that also had no effect.

Am I doing something wrong? Has anybody had similar problems with SQL*ReportWriter? Is there/Are there any solutions?

Help!

I am using RDBMS 6.0.30.3.0 and SQL*ReportWriter 1.1.10.5 .
