Oops, you're right.... Discussions in this forum tend to wander away from the original subject, sorry for that. The only thing I could come up with is that there could be macros defined to these keys. Since I stopped using Toad and with that, paying for support (switched to pl/Sql developer), I can't check the support site anymore...
One option to check: your keyboard has two home keys (one special key, one on the num key pad). Do they both fail?
If Quest wants your details, you could give them the registration number of the clients site... if they have one. If they haven't, it's their problem...
