That was some time ago ... meanwhile
I played around a little and found this
by setting the following properties of a button:
symbol Form -> Yes (default is No)
"No" shows the button text and hide the colors, "Yes" does the opposite:
colors but no text on the button.
So one may want to use the prompt instead.
Then set foreground and background colors as needed, eventually by Set_Item_Property ( ).
