Thank you Niall, appreciate you taking the time to respond. As to testing - I assume I will have to do quite a bit as I am splitting the application from the database. Here is the strange question - if say, I had to do 100 hours of testing, what percentage of that would be attributed to the switch in OS? I keep hearing I can just move "tar" the database and move it over to HP and avoid any testing. What do you "quess" as to the % of testing just due to the OS switch when I split the applications from the DB. Again, really appreciate you taking the time to respond!!
