Good, solid product. Useful. Price is right. In general, I'd stack it up against the competition for most, if not all, relevant tasks. When evaluating, remember that OWB and the competitors tend to leap-frog each other in capability every few months. If you are primarily an Oracle DB shop, you should seriously consider this. If you have a heterogeneous RDBMS environment, you need to look at the big picture to evaluate properly.

IMHO, Oracle's biggest strength and biggest weakness is that they do not necessarily use 'accepted methods' to accomplish a specific task. In some cases this is because they see (or percieve) that the 'accepted method' causes performance, reliability or scalability issues. Therefore, if you are planning on evaluating this by yourselves and you are comparing to traditional or accepted methods or techniques, you may not get a good understanding of the product. Gather the questions and ask Oracle to explain why/how - don't simply reject.
