That is exactly what I did, or at least I believe so. I created an OS user, granted the "logon as a batch job" privelege, created [Quoted] an oracle user with the same name (os_authent_prefix = ""), set authentication to "external", granted DBA role, and.... it doesn't work. That's where I am stuck. Well, I am trying out the OMS in my spare time, I am not wasting hours on it, but at any rate, it's not so "hasslefree" the installation.
