There is no such thing as a point and drool installation of Oracle. If that's what you want use Access or something - if you can't handle the Oracle installation procedure, which as Oracle admin goes is relatively simple, you've got very little chance of being able to use Oracle itself.

The 9i installation procedure differs from 8i due to changes in the software but it's still not trivial. Your statement that there are no installation guide for 9i is incorrect - look at index.htm in the same directory as runInstaller, click on Documentation then you will see a link to the Installation Guide (true for 9.2, probably also true for 9.0 but I haven't got an install set handy to check).
