[Quoted] [Quoted] We are investigating moving away from MS for all new intranet/enterprise [Quoted] development. In considering java ides, I've read good things about JDev. I'm really confused by the licensing though and don't want to demo it for our department if we're going to end up having to pay $995 per developer (don't get me wrong, I don't mind if we know that it will carry this cost - [Quoted] [Quoted] I don't want to present it as "free", only to get stuck with a bill later).

[Quoted] [Quoted] Can someone shed some light on what Oracle means by "free". It appears that [Quoted] [Quoted] using JDev for "commercial" use or in "production" will require licensing. [Quoted] Does this mean that if we produce an intranet only site using servlets developed with JDev, we need to license our copies?

Any info/experience/insight is greatly appreciated. Received on Wed Jun 26 2002 - 18:12:56 CEST
