  Hmmm, somewhere along the line the total environment list got cut down to just 3 lines. I am on Windows 98.

  But, I suspect some sort of memory glitch. I just discovered that any canvas I try to make in this form (layout wizard or clicking on canvas and then the greeen plus) always looks like one of the existing canvas (and always the same one). If I try and delete the stuff that shouldn't be on the new canvas (i.e. from the existing canvas), the existing canvas is also changed.
