Help in OWA% pakcages. How can I logout a user out from a web-application without closing the browser

I am currently working on a web-application using 9iAS. One of the requirement is to logout user by not asking them to close the browser. Is it possible?

I am using Per-pacakge authentication. I have tried to assign null to owa.password and owa.user_id but it seems not working. They always returns values if I use owa_sec functions.

Also, I would like to know if owa_sec.setProtectionRealm() is borwser specific or connection specific. When I am using IE5+ to connect to our application, the popup screen will prompt for username and password for EACH new browser opened. However, this is not the case with Netvigator4+. Only the very first browser will required to login.
