Hi,

I usually do my PL/SQL directly on the database using PLEdit, TOAD or something similar.

For our new project we want to enter the PL/SQL in Designer and use that to generate the final code to be installed on the database.

However, the editor in Designer is no better than Notepad and lacks all the niceties of syntax comprehension and highlighting, auto-indentation, etc. It is possible to specify the ASCII editor in Designer, it just passes a filename to the called editor. Which editors do you recommend for this purpose?

Thanks,

Andy
