1)make sure that you have the Oracle provided ODBC drivers installed
(not the Microsoft one)
2)Make sure that the installed version of the Oracle client software
matches the Oracle ODBC driver (probably true since they normally
install from the same CD).
3)Use the ODBC administrator from the control panel to create a DSN
using the ORACALE provided driver. The SERVER NAME field is where you
put the TNS alias.
