When to WebDB, when to use Forms over the Internet?

Hi,
[Quoted] Our current systems are generally developed in Forms and run over our intranet. Future work involves running new but similar systems over both intranet and the Internet.
I'm looking for any papers or thoughts about the pros and cons of using WebDB or Forms over such a set up.
I have a Forms and Designer background, so am tempted towards to Forms and a [Quoted] Forms Server!
