- Check from start/setting/control panel/services to see if oracle is running.
- If yes, open a dos command window and type: sqlplus system/manager to see if it connects.
- If it works, type from the sqlplus prompt: select user from dual:
- If it works, everything is ok. You may create your own applications in
the database now.
