I'm afraid you do need to recompile. You should also bare in mind once
open a form in 6 it updates all the PL/SQL etc, and if you save it you
will not be able to open it in 4.5 anymore.
However, forms 6 developer is much better than 4.5 so you should
migrate as soon as you can.
