Export/Import/Transport a database

[Quoted] [Quoted] Hi, I want to copy a database from one machine to another machine. [Quoted] [Quoted] I tried to export the tables to a dmp file and then copy that in the [Quoted] another machine, where I do the Import for that file. However , it [Quoted] gives an error of :

[Quoted] [Quoted] IMP-00010: not a valid export file, heaer failed verification [Quoted] [Quoted] IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully.

[Quoted] [Quoted] is that mean i can not import a database file that is not exported on [Quoted] the same machine?
