SQL loader loading a moving log file

Hi
Using Oracle 8.1.6 is it possible to use sql loader to load a log file that is constantly gaining data.
The key feilds are date_time.
other fields are item1, item2 and item3 in a cvs file
format that may contain data types of '-' and '_' and ':'.
ie
data_time, item1, item2, item3
