That would help indeed,
but you only see the hint text of a button AFTER you clicked it, which is a
bit late, i.m.h.o.
You can show the hint by using get_item_property to get the hint for an
item, and the message command to show the hint. Combine this with
when-mouse-enter and when-mouse-leave triggers, and you can see your hint
without clicking. Don't forget the clear_message built in in the
when-mouse-leave trigger.
