Here is the latest. There is a bug which exists on (at least) versions 8.0.4 and 8.0.5 of SQL*PLUS for SUN. This bug has been fixed in versions 8.1.5 and higher and was backported to 8.0.4 (at the request of a customer) but has never been backported to 8.0.5.

The bug number is 663806.
