OAS4.0.7 is not supported for SP5 and furthermore, many on a few of these newsgroups have often reported that it doesn't work on SP5. By upgrading to SP5, you proved the idea yourself. OAS crashed. When I talked to Oracle Support, they informed me that OAS 4.0.8 is the only OAS supported for SP5.
