Help: Forms and Updating Records

I have a form that I would like to perform some validations before commiting and return counts where certain conditions are met.

Currently the form goes record by record and performs the validations and counts. The problem is that you can see the records scrolling by in the form which is rather 'ugly' to the user.

Is there a way to perform the same functions without the scrolling?
