Re: Oracle interMedia as a Web Search Solution?

I have to correct myself - I cranked the SORT_AREA_SIZE way up and was able to get ORDER BY queries to run almost as fast as non-ORDER BY queries. Thanx Joel.

Only remaining problem is that the query time is still unacceptable when talking large data sets - I fear this may not hold up too well as a web search with millions of items indexed.
