popup menu's on forms 6.0

Is there any way to use the popup menus from within a trigger on Forms 6.0?
The only way I can activate it, is with a right mouse click.
That event does not seem to activate a trigger.
I would like to use that type of menu from within a 'when-button-pressed' trigger.

Any help appreciated,
