Reports: Limit to text in After Parameter Form Trigger?

I am trying to find out if there is a limit to the amount of text you can put in an after parameter form. Although we have never had this problem before, with a new report we are developing, we are experiencing multiple errors (usually cursor or out of memory). This report has a fairly large amount of processing being done in the after parameter form, thus the concern we have surpassed a limit. Developer has been reinstalled on the machine and the same problem is still occurring. Also, the same report has been tried on various other machine, with the same results. It does not always error, and simply removing or adding parts in the after parameter form trigger do not always affect things. The report layout is fairly straightforward - no Matrix report. When the same code is run in SQLPlus, it works fine. We're using Reports 3 but plan to upgrade in the near future.

If anyone has any info on such a limit, it would be appreciated. The problem can be worked around by doing things in a different manner; however, it would be good to know if there is a limitation we have hit upon.
