AS400 Gateway security

We are running Oracle 7.3.2 on AIX 4.2.1 with TCP/IP connecting to an AS400 using DB2. We purchased the oracle gateway product to query and transfer data the to our oracle databases on AIX. The AS400 system administrator has some concerns about the security of us accessing his data this way. Is anyone else using this product ? Is there a newsgroup that talks about the security issues, I can direct the AS400 administrator to ?

I called oracle and asked if they could give us a phone number a customer using this product with the same configuration. They gave me the phone support and a users website, that I have not been able to get onto www.iouga.com. Can anyone help ? Received on Wed Jul 07 1999 - 20:38:39 CEST
