Installing Discoverer 3.1

Can anyone help me on this one?

I need to install Discoverer 3.1 on a Windows 95 PC with Personal Oracle 7. The installer quits with an error message. This "feature" can be worked around by changing somethis in the registry but I don't know which key to edit/remove. Has anyone experienced this problem and how did you solve it.
