[Quoted] Try to delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE registrry node before installation. In that case Oracle Installer (Des2k 2.1.2 CD) will work.

But keep in mind to reinstall other Oracle products :)

Designer/2000 works fine with Oracle7.
