Using UTL_FILE in PL/SQL

    Hi, I'm using the UTL_FILE package to write out a query I run on the server to a OS file.  Everything works fine, however, I can't find a way to make my output fixed length.  I've even played with the PUTF function, to no avail.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
