Oracle Database Restores

I'm a program analyst with DHHS. We currently work with an Oracle 7.3.4 database. When ever we do a database restore it takes 3 days to restore a database. We currently do logical restores. My question is there a physical database restore written for the Oracle database. We need to shorten the time required to do a Database restore.
