Developer/2000 and Sybase

I have an unusual problem in Developer/2000 when I try to connect to Sybase through ODBC.
Let's say I have two tables emp1, EMP2 in Sybase. If I use the table names in lower case (e.g. 'emp1' or 'emp2') in Forms 5.0 trigger it recognizes EMP2 only. Again, if I use upper case (i.e. 'EMP1' or 'EMP2') it recognizes only EMP2.
So, my question is, how can I access the table emp1, that is, object names with lower case letters? (the privileges for both the tables are same)
