ThanX for your responce.
I did not find a SQNPATH variable in my environments, however I did have a variable caled ORACLE_PATH. ORACLE_PATH did include the directory where the login.sql file resides. Could it be that ORACLE_PATH is also used when looking for the login.sql file?
Is SQLPATH realy correct or did you mean ORACLE_PATH? (No offence. I am trying to get a complete and correct answer. For myself and for anybody following this thread
