Hi everybody !
Now I can work with Personal Oracle 8.0.4 and Developer/2000 2.1 !!! When you install PO8 and then Developer/2000 in the usual way you get the following error message : ora-03121 : no interface driver connected - function not performed. Advice to install SQL*Net 2.3 doesn't help you. You should not install its with typical option. Do this in the following way:
Install PO8 with custom option and choose NET8 and SQL*Net 2.3 too. Default installation includes only NET8. After that you can install Developer/2000 with custom option too. You shouldn't install SQL*Net 2.3 once more!! Now you should be able to connect from Developer/2000, Designer/2000 to PO8!!!
