You may want to check out Platinum's (www.platinum.com) Fast Unload for Oracle. It unloads tables from Oracle by reading the data blocks directly and writing to a variety of formats, including delimited ASCII, Sybase, and DB2. It's about 10 times faster than using SQL scripts.
