Clear_Form problem

Hi,
I receive a message similar to 'Function not available' when I try to
enter
data into a text field in the first block of my form (consequently I
cannot enter
anything).
This problem ONLY occurs after executing the 'clear_form' statement.
Is there something I else I am supposed to do to solve this problem?
